Criminal jurisdiction CMS launch: Planned outages from 6pm Thursday 25 June to 8am Tuesday 30 June
The Magistrates’ Court’s new Case Management System (CMS) Portal for the criminal jurisdiction will commence on Tuesday 30 June 2026.
Planned extended outage
To support the implementation of the CMS for the criminal jurisdiction, there will be an extended outage of key systems.
- The CMS Portal for Civil will be unavailable for the scheduled upgrades from 6pm Thursday 25 June to 8am Tuesday 30 June 2026.
- EFAS will remain open until the CMS Portal replaces EFAS on Tuesday 30 June 2026.
- eDocs will remain open for BaRC, search warrants and other critical filings during this period after which CMS Portal will replace eDocs for criminal matters.
Filing during the outage
To provide continuity of service, manual processes will be in place during the outage period. Contact the proper venue during the outage period. View venue contact details.
Listings
To support a smooth transition to CMS Crime, non-sitting days are scheduled for Friday 26 June and Monday 29 June and adjustments have been made to listings immediately following the go-live date. Court users will be contacted if any changes are made to their hearing.
