Court Integrated Service Program - Tackling the causes of crime

The Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) began in 2007 after an establishment period in 2006. By the end of 2009, the program had been running for three full years and, at that time, the Courts and Tribunals Unit of the Department of Justice wanted an independent evaluation to be done.

The Department of Justice engaged Dr Stuart Ross of Melbourne Consulting and Custom Programs within the University of Melbourne to conduct the evaluation.

At the same time, an economic evaluation was carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers. This document is a summary of both evaluations.
