Sitting times of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria - Practice Direction 4 of 2018
Over time, the times during which magistrates and judicial registrars sit in a courtroom has lengthened. This has happened because of the increasing number of proceedings issued in the Court. The workload of the judiciary and administrative staff of the Court now poses an issue for health and well-being. It is now time to return the Court to conventional sitting times.
Suspended effective 5 August 2020.
