Notice of appeal pursuant to Section 26 of the Road Safety Act 1986 to the Magistrates’ Court against a decision of VicRoads to refuse an application for a driver licence or to suspend, cancel or vary in any way a driver licence.

This appeal may be lodged to correct a clerical error regarding demerit points recorded against a person following a suspension or disqualification of licence due to the incursion of demerit points.

IMPORTANT: Please note the following circumstances when an appeal can be made under section 46H of the Road Safety Act 1986.

This is an application for the Magistrates’ Court to make a direction to VicRoads that the applicant was not responsible for a failed attempt to start a motor vehicle fitted with an alcohol interlock. 

Application to be used by a person seeking leave to have their vehicle released from impoundment / immobilisation because of exceptional hardship.
